May June 2017 update - Quick Books Online IntegerationIntegration

New Features

  • Quick Books Online:
    • Updated to post and query for all the remaining financial types similar to Reckon Accounts.
    • Added system setting for the default duplicate transaction actions by transaction type.
    • Greatly improved validation errors and warnings shown after a posting attempt.
    • Caches and paginates query results for improved network usage and performance.
    • Removed the Intuit blue dot menu on the settings page.
    • Changed requirements for transaction entities to validate that CustomTxnNumbers is set to 'No' for the company.
  • With no external accounting system configured, confirm actions are automatically post actions because there is no need to wait on an external system, messages a shown when this is the case before the user confirms.
  • External Accounting Systems can now post matter branches
  • Finance Register page added to search through all finance entities with many filters, link is found on the finance index page.
  • Appliance settings now contains a tab with just links to editable lists and other settings pages containing lists.
  • Excel data import now supports importing all of the simple and some advanced system settings via xlsx file. It can also import small images and passwords.
  • Excel data import now has a sheet type for resetting the security matrix, requires a special user right.
  • Excel data import now has a sheet type to merge one contact into another, which removes the first contact all together
  • External accounting systems with relation to receipts will now post systems per receipt-line rather than per receipt, this applies to Quick Books Online and Reckon Accounts.
    • This causes the receipt line view page to be readonly when posted and also readonly when an external id has an error.
  • New system setting added for ignoring a users' two-factor on password reset screen.
