If a user is having trouble resetting their password, the Super User of your firm can assist you to reset your password.

The Super User can go in to the Settings and then Manage Users and click on the Actions drop down on the far right of the affected user.

From this list, choose Reset password for the user that needs the assistance.

On the Reset Password page, there are several options including Email, Verbal password and Verbal passphrase

We recommend using the Verbal password or passphrase to reset a user's password.

To use these options, tick the box for the Reset Method you are using and then Confirm the User's Identity - this is most important in large firm's where you do not know staff members personally.

After pressing the Reset password option, it will take you to a page with the details to reset the users password and instructions on how to complete this.

These instructions are for the end user who is changing their password to complete i.e. they need to go to the login page, select Forgot password, and then select Enter Reset Token.

From there, they can enter in the passphrase or password that the Super User has generated, select reset password and choose a new password.

End User Changing their password should see this and click on 'Enter Reset Token'

The End User will now be able to reset their password. Please keep in mind the password blacklist and password poligies for creating a new password.

Once the password is reset, it will redirect the end user to the login screen with a confirmation message that they have reset their password successfully.

The email option will only work if the user's recorded email is different to all other user's in the system.
