Disbursements
This category is for any outlays or disbursements that the firm makes. There are two types of Disbursements - Pay Now (Credit Card, Cheque etc) and Pay Later (Accounts Payable).

Recoveries
Recoveries are used when charging a client for use of a business provided service or product that has already been paid for. Recoveries can be referred to as outlays that have been Paid Already. This amount, unlike an outlay, can be marked up.
For example, your business may charge a client $1.00 per page of photocopying. This would be charged out as a recovery.

Invoicing
Invoicing is the step that will create a bill for the client after you have entered time or fixed fees and any recoveries. There are various statuses of invoices which must be paid close attention.
