Recently, Microsoft has updated their Outlook application.

Due to this update, the Outlook Helper may become disconnected on your Outlook application. You can tell this has happened by the 'Save to WOL' button being greyed out on your WOL Actions toolbar.

Unfortunately as we are connecting in to a Microsoft product, we have no control over the updates that they do to their programs.

To fix this you will need to do a Factory Reset on the Outlook Helper.

Factory Reset

  1. Click on Other > Options from the Outlook Helper Actions bar

  2. Click on Advanced Options at the top of the pop up and then choose Factory Reset.
(If this doesn't show up straight away, you may have to try and login, and then close the login screen to get to the Options)

  3. This will reset your application back to the defaults.

  4. Close Outlook and re-open

  5. Click on the Other > Options from the Outlook Helper Actions bar

  6. Enter your Wise Owl web address e.g. <client>.wols.com.au

  7. Enter your login

  8. Set your defaults and you should be good to go!

Please contact us if there are further issues.
