The Site Settings Page is a place that controls storage and other sensitive settings for running your Wise Owl Database.
Only users with high level permissions should be able to see this section.

These settings are of a technical nature and should only be modified by trained Wise Owl Help desk staff.
Modifying low-level site settings may cause your Wise Owl Legal Appliance to malfunction or fail entirely. Intervention may be required by Wise Owl Help desk staff, at your cost.
Wise Owl Legal cannot be held liable if errors or failures occur by modifying site settings without direction from Wise Owl Help desk staff.
You should never modify site settings unless directed by Wise Owl Help desk staff.

Financial Settings
USE WITH CAUTION! Changing financial settings may cause your firm to be in breach of trust accounting legislation!
Under special circumstances, for example the set up of your new WOL data file, it may be necessary to backdate trust payments and/or trust receipts. Please check with the Wise Owl Legal Help Desk and/or your financial advisor or accountant before changing these settings.
To enable the backdating of trust receipts or payments select the tick box as appropriate.
REMEMBER: To un-check the box once you have finished with the data entry.
