Help for per-user settings (my settings).

Each user of Wise Owl Legal can adjust their settings by clicking on the tools and settings icon (the grey cog) from the top menu bar. 

Select 'My Settings'

From the 'My Settings' page there are three sub menus:

1. Personal and Contact Details
   1. Name 
   2. Email
   3. Phone
   4. Language
   5. Timezone
2. General Preferences
   1. Display Size
   2. Show/Hide Tutorial
3. Security and Permissions 
   1. Password 
   2. Roles
   3. Rights

Personal and Contact Details

• Your initials are shown in the top menu bar, to the right of the settings icon. This allows users to quickly identify who is logged in. 
• Wise Owl Legal currently only supports English, however has the options of various English speaking countries, which affects ????

General Preferences

• Changing the page size for both desktop and mobile is useful to maximise the functionality and usability of Wise Owl Legal. 
  
  • What is the dimension for? the cross section? what are the page sizes for iphone 4/5 HTC iPad etc.
• The tutorial can be turned off once you have become familiar with Wise Owl Legal. If you wish to view it at a later time, it can always be accessed by selecting the 'Welcome' button located on the footer of the page.
• The page load times display at the top right hand corner of every page. They show the time it takes for a particular page or field to load. It may be beneficial to turn off page load times to minimise distractions unless, your firm is monitoring internet speed etc. 

 

Security and Permissions

• This is where users may change their password (if they have that right enabled)
