Change of ISP
I have changed my Internet Service Provider (ISP)
AÂ Â I am on the Wise Owl Legal Cloud
If you are using Wise Owl Legal Cloud for Hosting of your Wise Owl you will simply need to reconfigure your router as below.Â
OR
BÂ Â I am hosting our Wise Owl Legal System on premise
If you are hosting your own Wise Owl Legal System, when you change the ISP that you use to connect to the internet you need to do two things:
(1)Â configure your router as below.
(2)Â go to the domain name host and update the DNS (domain name server) attached to your Wise Owl.
If your wise owl has a domain name of <your firm>.wiseowllegal.com.au  <your firm>.wiseowllegal.com or <your firm>.wols.com.au, contact the Wise Owl Legal Help Desk and we will do this for you.
If you have Wise Owl attached to your domain, than will need to update the DNS server to point to the new IP address you have.
Router Configuration for Wise Owl LegalÂ
Assign the Wise Owl server a DHCP reservation (ie: a static IP address)
Enable port forwarding to the Wise Owl server (computer on site):
Port 80 (unencrypted web access)
Port 443 (secure web access)
