Settings - Index

This page is used to manage various aspects of Wise Owl Legal. On your initial setup, these settings will be made to our defaults and either we or yourselves can change them form there.

Tools

The Tools page provides links to Conflict Check, Sending Messages, Active Users, Managing Users, Data Import, Technical Diagnostics, Audit Logs, Appliance Logs and appliance stats.
You may not be able to see all of these options depending on the permissions you have in WOL. 

These tools are designed to help you manage the technical side of Wise Owl Legal.
You can manage and create users, Import Data (This option is generally used by Wise Owl Legal Help Desk), Run Audit logs and perform various other checks.

Settings

The settings page provides links to 'my settings,' 'appliance settings' and 'site settings'.

The settings pages allow you to customise Wise Owl Legal to suit the requirements of your firm.

My Settings are setting specific to individual users. 

Appliance Settings are organisation wide, and hence affect all users. 

Site settings should not be altered, unless specific direction is given by Wise Owl Help Desk staff. 

Not all users will be able to view all three levels of settings, depending on their rights and roles allocated to them. However, at minimum each user will be able to view 'My Settings'.
