Issues Interacting with Other Programs

Whenever you are using multiple software programs, it is important to note whether they work harmoniously or if there are tricks that will prevent you working efficiently. Below is information about known issues with some programs that may cause inconsistent behaviour within Wise Owl Legal. Also included is fixes on how to address these.

Using Bitwarden Chrome Extension or Other Auto-fillers

When using auto-fill tools like the Bitwarden Chrome extension or other similar auto-fillers, you may experience issues with Wise Owl Legal, particularly when interacting with search fields or other input areas. This is because these tools can interfere by trying to auto-fill fields where it’s not necessary, leading to unexpected behaviour in the software.

Common Issues:

  • Auto-fill suggestions appearing in search fields

  • Auto-filled data overwriting your manual inputs
