How to delete a contact and matter

How can I delete a contact and matter that is no longer needed?

There is no 'delete' function in Wise Owl for Contacts and Matters, instead you will need to make the contact inactive and archive the matter.

Make the Contact Inactive

  1. Open the Contact

  2. Untick the Active button

  3. Save the contact


Archiving the Matter

  1. Find the Matter on the Matter list

  2. Select Close from the Actions on the right hand side


  3. Confirm the Close of the matter

  4. Choose Archive matter on the bottom right hand side of the matter screen

  5. Confirm the archive of the matter
