Release Notes for Version 2.0.95.0

Please read the following notes about this Wise Owl release carefully before installing it.

IMPORTANT

Any data you had previously stored in Contact level Custom Fields will be lost

IMPORTANT

Please review the following settings after installation:

  • Site Settings -> Documents

  • Document Folders on Disk

  • IIS docs Settings

  • Web.Config

Remember to put back the customer facing changes for final release

Description

Documents module

New Features

  • Improved support for document attachments

    • Can extract / detach attachments on upload.

  • Can save PDF from Word using Save As -> PDF. Will copy document properties from original.

Bugs Fixed

  • Fix list of Documents on the Matter page.

Other Changes

  • Added Editors field to Document Register as an extra column and filter.

  • Fill Down function on Allocate Documents will only replace empty fields.

  • Allow Resource Packs to be manually updated, even if they are already installed.

  • Any Resource Pack with an error is re-installed after a Wise Owl code update (assumes we fixes bugs in the code preventing previous installations).

  • Update SSL validation to allow for Lets Encrypt and StartSSL based certificates.

Reports

  • Added stored procedure and sample report for Document Template list - in Document report pack.
