Please read the following notes about this Wise Owl release carefully before installing it.

Description

September update

New Features

  • Disable Chrome's auto complete function on Contact and Matter pages. 

  • Add Contract Price Reduction field to Settlement Calculator.

  • Add Former Name field to Contact (under Additional Details).

Other Changes

  • Add error hint for QuickBooks Online error 620 when trying to post Receipts.

  • Improve error message for use of TemplateMapping tab on PDF Doc Packs.

  • Add a warning message if CapsLock key is pressed when typing your Login password.

  • Common document types are always listed as attachments on email files, even if the email itself says the attachment should be "inline".

  • Add link to Resource Pack update message to show users which templates have been updated.

Reports

  • Fix receipts may not be included correctly on Productivity and Fees By Type of Law reports.

  • Changed Productivity and Fees By Type of Law reports to use nett invoices (invoices + adjustment notes) rather than excluding adjustment notes.

  • Add additional Primary Client fields to Matter List report query.

  • Add full support for "But Say" Invoice layout.

Bugs Fixed

  • Fix incompatibility in iPhone / iPad authenticator app.

  • Fix bug posting Invoice to External Accounting System when there are positive and negative quantities which sum to zero (can manifest when adding discounts to an invoice).

  • Fix "PDF header signature not found" error causes doc pack import to fail entirely - now only records the error against the template.

  • Improve handling of SAI Global timeout errors. These are now ignored as they resolve themselves in time.

  • Improve handling of QuickBooks Online "endpoint not found" error. These are now ignored as they resolve themselves in time.

  • Allow very large invoices (over 200 lines) to have larger rounding errors when applying receipts. One cent per 100 lines is now allowed.

  • Fix bug where viewing a email with a blank body can cause a error page.

  • Fix download of Matter list to Outlook Helper requires incorrect Right. Users no longer need "View all Matters" right.

  • Fix QuickBooks Online behaviour on "401 not authorised" errors to require reconnection to company file, as per the QuickBooks Online App Marketplace requirements.

  • Fix Copy Down Lawyer function on Matter Create / Edit pages doesn't always work.
